Lennora Archer, HIS

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Lennora lived in Toronto, ON until the age of 12. She then moved to Missisauga, ON where she spent her teenage years through to her early twenties. Lennora attended Sheridan College and graduated from their animal care program and then later went on to George Brown College where she graduated from their hearing instrument specialist program.

Growing up, Lennora knew she wanted to work within healthcare in some capacity. Originally, she wanted to become a veterinarian, and she worked as an animal care attendant for six years before deciding to pursue other opportunities.

Lennora settled on the hearing care industry and became completely in awe as to how she could help people in their daily lives to not only hear better but also rekindle their relationships with loved ones.

A typical day at Brampton Hearing Aid Services for Lennora includes providing hearing tests/hearing aid evaluations and wax removals; fitting hearing aids; and providing after care and the follow-ups needed to help patients succeed with their hearing aids.

Lennora enjoys getting to know her patients and developing long lasting relationships with them. Her favourite memories are seeing the expressions of joy on patients’ faces after getting their hearing aids and being able to hear conversations again and rekindle their social interactions with their friends and loved ones.

Outside of the office, Lennora enjoys spending time with her three-year-old son. Together, they go on new adventures, and she loves seeing him develop and become his own person. Lennora also likes spending time with close friends playing board games and, in the summer, eating some good BBQ foods.

If you could have dinner with one person, who would you choose?

Even though my grandmother is no longer here, I would love to have dinner with her and just talk about anything and everything.

What is your favourite sports team?

I have fond memories of going to Blue Jays games with my dad as a kid in the summer and having the best time. So, Toronto Blue Jays 100%!

What is your favourite food?

Nothing beats a nice bowl of hot Ramen. My favourite flavour would have to be Tonkotsu, and there MUST be a jammy egg included!

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I enjoy nature, mountains and picturesque views, so New Zealand is at the top of my list to visit.

What’s your all-time favourite TV show/series?

My comfort show to watch and listen to as I am puttering around the house is How I Met Your Mother. However, I do also enjoy a good crime show so Castle would have to be another favourite of mine.
